Coinflow powers realtime stablecoin settlements at scale

Coinflow, a rapidly scaling payment service provider, uses stablecoins to break down borders in global commerce. To support their explosive growth across European and US markets, they needed reliable infrastructure that could keep pace with their ambitions.

The challenge: Finding infrastructure that could scale

Founded in 2022 by Daniel Lev, Jake Montgomery, and Ben Meeder, Coinflow empowers merchants to accept traditional payment methods while settling in stablecoins, delivering settlement speeds measured in seconds rather than days. By early 2025, the company had raised $25 million in Series A funding from Pantera Capital, Coinbase Ventures, and others, and was processing tens of millions monthly across Europe and beyond.

As business accelerated, their core operations faced a bottleneck. Coinflow needed a partner who could provide reliable EUR and USD accounts to receive bank settlements, deliver quick processing times, convert fiat to USDC near-instantlyly across multiple chains, and support rapid scaling without operational headaches.

“We needed to receive settlements from acquiring banks and convert to stablecoins reliably – something that should be straightforward but was proving challenging as we scaled. Any delays in settlement really affected our operations and put stress on the team.”
— Jake Montgomery, Co-founder, Coinflow

The solution: Infrastructure built for speed

After being introduced to BVNK, Coinflow onboarded quickly and immediately saw a dramatic difference in performance.

“Our first fiat transfer landed in a few hours – one-sixth of the typical speed we were seeing before. And we were able to instantly mint USDC for a reasonable price.”
— Jake Montgomery, Co-founder, Coinflow

The integration works seamlessly: consumer purchases are processed through acquiring banks, and settlement funds land directly in Coinflow's EUR and USD BVNK accounts. BVNK then executes real-time conversions from fiat to USDC across Coinflow's preferred blockchains. Finally, Coinflow distributes those stablecoins to liquidity pools that fund their instant settlement product, allowing merchants to realize revenue in real time.

The results: Reliable infrastructure at scale

The impact on Coinflow's business was immediate. Beyond achieving 6x faster settlement times compared to previous solutions, the team experienced zero major escalations after launch, backed by support response times that were often under 30 seconds. Monthly processing volumes scaled to over $20 million within just three months of going live, with total processing reaching $600 million over the past year.

“The ability to have the power of stablecoins right there in the platform is a game changer for us. There's no need to bounce between different vendors – everything's just an all-in-one solution.”
— Jake Montgomery, Co-founder, Coinflow

Ultimately, three key factors set BVNK apart for Coinflow: reliability at scale, global infrastructure, and best-in-class support. As Jake notes, BVNK’s banking partnerships across EUR and USD markets provided the multi-currency access needed to scale globally with confidence.

“BVNK has the best support team that I've ever encountered. It's what I've modeled my own operations after,” Jake added. “When things do maybe arrive a little bit later or go slightly wrong, the team is very fast to jump on it.”
