How MiFinity and BVNK are making global payouts faster and more predictable

When a merchant needs to send money across borders, speed and certainty matter. For years, traditional banking has struggled to deliver both consistently. MiFinity, a global payments provider regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA), recognized this friction firsthand through conversations with their customers.

Rather than accept it as inevitable, they looked for a better way – and found it by deepening a partnership that had already proven itself reliable.

In July 2026, MiFinity launched PayAnyCoin, a stablecoin payout service enabled by BVNK. The service grew from four years of collaboration, starting in 2022, and a shared belief that payments infrastructure should solve real problems rather than chase technology for its own sake.

The problem: predictability is rare

Cross-border payouts remain surprisingly unpredictable. When a player requests a withdrawal from an online gaming platform, or a marketplace needs to settle with a seller in another country, the money travels through multiple banking layers. Weekends, banking holidays and geography all introduce delays. Sometimes funds arrive in hours, often they take days.

From a merchant's perspective, this uncertainty creates operational drag. Support teams field questions about missing payments while treasury teams hold larger liquidity buffers to manage exceptions. In the meantime, customers grow frustrated.

"Many payout journeys still depend on banking hours, intermediary banks, local clearing systems and multiple counterparties. This can introduce delays, higher costs and uncertainty for both merchants and recipients."

For MiFinity's customers, the withdrawal experience was becoming as important as the deposit experience. They needed an alternative.

The solution: PayAnyCoin

MiFinity recognised that as stablecoins matured from a crypto-focused experiment into practical infrastructure, they could address real merchant problems.

"It was not a single lightbulb moment," Kris recalls. "It was a consistent pattern of customer feedback, combined with observations of how payment infrastructure was evolving globally."

The partnership with BVNK provided the foundation to act on this insight. MiFinity had been working with BVNK since 2022, accepting stablecoins, converting to EUR in virtual accounts provided by BVNK. Over four years, trust had been built through reliability and responsive service.

As merchant demand for stablecoin payouts began to rise, BVNK was the obvious partner for Mifinity. BVNK operates across 130+ countries with 40+ licenses across digital assets and fiat, providing the scale and regulatory foundation MiFinity required. MiFinity knew what to expect: technical rigor, enterprise-grade controls, and a commitment to solving payment problems, says Kris.

"BVNK combined digital asset expertise with an infrastructure-first mindset. Their approach aligned with how we think about payments: reliability, scalability and customer experience."

PayAnyCoin – MiFinity's stablecoin payout service – emerged from this partnership. MiFinity merchants can submit payout requests through a single API. Recipients choose a supported stablecoin and blockchain network and the transaction settles near-instantly on-chain – with the merchant receiving real-time transaction updates.

What shifted: from experimentation to operations

Early engagement suggests the service is resonating. MiFinity merchants are actively incorporating stablecoin payouts into their operations and exploring how they fit their specific markets. The conversations have shifted from whether this works to how to use it effectively.

Some MiFinity customers need broader geographic coverage while others prioritize speed for recipients. Many want to reduce dependency on traditional banking constraints. PayAnyCoin addresses each of these as an additional payment rail alongside PayAnyBank and PayAnyCard.

"The goal was not to replace existing payout options but to introduce an additional payment rail to address specific customer challenges," says Kris.

"One of the things we have appreciated most about working with BVNK is the shared focus on solving real customer problems. There has been strong alignment around building practical, scalable payment infrastructure rather than promoting new technology for its own sake.
